Iceni Windows are celebrating what has been a bumper year, having gone from strength to strength in 2013, by investing heavily in new machinery in order to streamline their factory and increase production capacity to 1250 frames per week.

Paul Foyle, Managing Director of Iceni Windows comments:  “This year has been a fantastic year for Iceni.  We started 2013 in our new factory in Witham and quickly forged ahead with our plans to expand the company.  We understand that what matters most to customers is a frame made from a quality profile, manufactured to the highest quality standards and a friendly, customer focused team who care about their customers and place real importance on exceptional customer service. The latest investment in machinery will improve every area of our production floor and offer us an improvement to capacity for new products to be launched next year."

The following list of machinery should be installed by mid January 2014

Hollinger bay cill welder

Hollinger reverse butt welder

Panel wall saw

Rotox Crucifix welder, improving the accuracy of transom and mullion crossover welds

4 x Vertical 4 head welders to improve accuracy, increase weld strengths and lift through-put of window sash, door sash and door frames.

Rotox EKA479 CNC Tandem cleaning line. This automatic CNC machine line will improve the finish of the cleaned welds and automate this area of the factory.

We are committed to offering our customers the best value for money and have chosen to adopt the BFRC scheme for Window Energy Ratings.  We currently hold licences covering our Rehau Total 70 and AluK products with BFRC. Customers will be able to have their own name on the label without having to incur a fee.  This is a more flexible scheme and will enable Iceni Windows customers to promote an energy rated product.
