Investment in new machinery

Iceni Windows purchase new Rotox machinery.

Iceni Windows have purchased a new Rotox EKA 379 CNC Corner, Transom and Crucifix Cleaner, supplied and installed by Winmac UK.

With the increasing volumes now around 450 frames per week it was now time for us to look at the market for another CNC Transom and Corner cleaning machine to aid both quality and increased productivity.

Having purchased a variety of machines from Winmac in the past, it was easy to make the decision to buy from them again, particularly with the strong Rotox brand supporting them. The operating system on the EKA 379 is so easy to use that we can make any minor adjustments ourselves. The quality of finish we now achieve is exceptionally high and this is mirrored by the service we receive from Winmac as a company.

We are committed to offering our customers the best value for money and have chosen to adopt the BFRC scheme for Window Energy Ratings.  We currently hold licences covering our Rehau Total 70 and AluK products with BFRC. Customers will be able to have their own name on the label without having to incur a fee.  This is a more flexible scheme and will enable Iceni Windows customers to promote an energy rated product.
